OB 125th Anniversary

2012 marked the 125th anniversary of Ocean Beach, the quirky, colorful San Diego beach community I call home. The Ocean Beach MainStreet Association asked me to design a commemorative seal to be used throughout the year in conjunction with events celebrating the anniversary. It was displayed on street banners, merchandised extensively, and even used as a beer logo. All proceeds from merchandise sales went to the Ocean Beach MainStreet Association, which put them back into the community through the many wonderful events, projects and initiatives they undertake each year.
Street banners lined the entryway to OB along Sunset Cliffs Blvd. and the main business district on Newport Avenue.
